In depth

Verdict

Dandys Ocean made a successful debut over the minimum on soft here in May but has failed to impress on much quicker going over the same trip. Hammersmith finished last in a Group 3 before staying on strongly to land a nursery over an extended 6f here so today's slightly longer trip is in his favour and he's only 3lb higher. HIGHWAY TO SUCCESS caught the eye on his debut and started favourite for a Galway maiden over this trip on ground with some give. He duly obliged and doesn't look badly treated for his nursery debut. Cardini has been leading for a long way over a mile before caught in the closing stages and was mugged on the line by Zuenoon at Killarney so will make a bold bid to go one better. Royal Canford showed promise at Leopardstown and starts out in handicaps on a decent mark.
