    In depth

    Verdict

Apparition won this as a three-year-old last season and is just 3lb higher so has to go on the shortlist. Willie Mullins won the race in 2015 and promising hurdler Makitorix can go well along with stable companion Hey Little Boy, who looks quite well handicapped. Bay Hill has dropped to a lowly mark nowadays and any money for him should be noted but Circling Moon's recent good form has been on much faster ground. New Direction beat a huge field over the track and trip a couple of years ago but is probably as high as he wants to be in the weights so the vote goes to the progressive three-year-old ROCKABILL, who stayed on strongly to score over 1m3f at Killarney. Make It Hurrah carried a big weight into second at Galway and then ran well over timber there three days later so can get into the money.
