    In depth

    Formwatch

Nigrasine Genuine sort; should run creditably but invariably finds one or two too good; seems better over shorter distances

Topton (IRE) Technically well in on his sand form; can win here but will need everything to go right for him.

Silk St John Fair old stick on his day but too inconsistent to consider as a viable betting proposition.

Tornado Prince (IRE) Well beaten this term but coming the right way down the handicap so shouldn't be discounted; jockey booking suggests he isn't the first string here..

Spin A Yarn Ran over an inadequate trip first time out; each way claims at fancy prices.

Downland (IRE) Seems to have been rejuvenated by switch to Barron's yard; looks off a fair mark.

Greenaway Bay (USA) Passed over on this faster surface.

Bold Raider Winner of a Class E event over 1m1f at Windsor; never won off this high a mark.

Nashaab (USA) Thereabouts in his runs this term; often starts slowly.

Knocktopher Abbey Fair form over 7f but hasn't set the world alight over a mile.

Unshaken In sparkling form this season; still looks well treated and is a live danger to the favourite in this event.

King Priam (IRE) Had a confidence booster on the all-weather in claiming class; thrown in old form but opposable here.

Clever Girl (IRE) Runs here in order to avoid reassessment by the handicapper; undoubtedly "well in" under a penalty but the quality of the last two events she has contested has been significantly weaker.

Kinan (USA) Out of form and would probably need it a lot softer than this.

More Sirens (IRE) Headed by Clever Girl last time out at Pontefract; progressive.

Markusha Second to Topton over 7f latest and looks as if extra 1f will suit; looks unexposed.

Apache Point (IRE) Hard to fancy.

Theatre Lady (IRE) Interesting here; at the right end of the handicap and may figure if still improving.

Hadleigh (IRE) Consistent enough on the all-weather but passed over here.

Bahrain (IRE) Stable are in rude health but his form doesn't look good enough.
