In depth

Verdict

Unusually, for a race of this nature, there are several older horses with decent claims against the three-year-olds. Ceyhan was third behind a subsequent winner on his racecourse debut at Windsor. Chepstow third Tobouggaloo has already won a couple of bumpers and London Prize has also been successful in that sphere. Toola Boola won over hurdles last October but GREAT GLEN will surely take all the beating if returning at the top of his game. He was last seen in last year's Queens Vase at Ascot having earlier finished fourth in a Listed race at Goodwood. Newmarket runner-up Cape Cova makes most appeal of the younger generation ahead of Endless Acres and Withhold, who had every chance when a short price here last month, though Stanley is a likely improver.
