      Verdict

      Winning hurdler Giovanni Change hasn’t had many runs on the Flat. Blistering Barney has improved for a step up in trip and won over 1m6f at Nottingham in May but is 5lb higher now whereas STORM CHASER can actually race off a 3lb lower mark than when a wide-margin winner at the same track eight days ago. Rose Dawes pinched a big lead that day and never looked like being caught but Mick Channon’s stayer should still double up here ahead of the in-form three-year-old Mostly Cloudy and Redcar third The Predictor.
