      Verdict

SPIRITING will be a short price for this maiden having run really well in a hot handicap on his reappearance at Newmarket - he's difficult to oppose unless one of the newcomers is well above average. The Tin Man may prove best of the debutants in time but probably over further than this. Scalzo was second over this trip on his debut at Wolverhampton in October but is another who might be suited by a longer trip this season.
