      Verdict

      This is a trappy handicap and narrow preference is for Killcara Boy over Shady Gloom and Mezzanisi. Henry Candy's 3-year-old ran well last time at Sandown when he took a bump from the winner Slip. He looks progressive and with conditions to suit he can gain his compensation for his unlucky defeat last time. Shady Gloom should give him a race as he won well last time and the second in that race has since been out and run well. Mezzanisi was also an unlcuky loser last time so a case can be made for him to go close today. Neve Lieve won well last time and any rain would work in her favour. Killcara Boy has got solid form though and he can get his head in front.
