Verdict

Just three runners in this and Apple Of Our Eye needs to bounce back from a fall at Plumpton when beaten. DEAUVILLE DANCER has now won four of his eight starts over fences. Though successful over 2m last time at Fakenham, he’d won over 2m4f at Huntingdon before that so the trip isn’t a problem and he can complete the hat-trick getting 4lb from Derintoher Yank, who has improved for the fitting of headgear and is just looking in the handicapper’s grip now.
