Verdict

David O'Meara has trained the last two winners and FLYBOY looks capable of going close on the evidence of last year's debut effort. He was third behind a couple of subsequent winners at Musselburgh and is preferred to the more exposed Siege Of Boston, placed over 6f at Hamilton in September. Abu Khadra is expected to improve having been well beaten on last year's debut but Raven's Corner represents John Gosden, who has won this a couple of times in the last 10 years, and stands out among the newcomers. Fisher Green is related to five winners and could also go well.
