Verdict

Shahbar was placed on his handicap debut over a mile at Newcastle and could go well if staying the trip. ROBINNIELLY won a handicap before going close again at Ayr in a tougher race than this and breeding suggests this extra distance will suit. Prince Of Arran was beaten only a head over track and trip in September but Soldier In Action was well beaten on his handicap bow and the remainder are all maiden winners including the latter's stablemates Byres Road and Juste Pour Nous. William Buick rides the latter while Silvestre De Sousa continues his partnership with Goodwood maiden winner Harrison, who is entered in the Dante and Irish Derby. Zzoro won at Wolverhampton and should also appreciate this longer trip.
