In depth

Our Bomber Harris is an interesting recruit to the bigger obstacles as his jumping has let him down over timber. He'll have been well schooled for this chasing debut but it may pay to stick with experience and there's plenty of that here. Glencree put a very long absence behind him to make a winning debut over fences at Catterick and is certain to improve for the experience but Film Festival, who has won just once from 10 starts over the bigger obstacles, looks up against it. Benny Be Good has been a little disappointing after scoring at Sedgefield so this can go to SIR TANTALLUS HAWK. Alan Swinbank's useful hurdler had just two opponents to beat on his third start over fences at Sedgefield last month but one of them, Predictive, is well regarded. He jumped really well on the Durham track and looks the type to go on to better things.

Benny Be Good 6-4fav (11-11) Tracked leaders in 4th, headway before 4 out, chased clear winner last, lost 2nd close home, 3rd of 5, 5l behind Douglas Julian (10-2) at Haydock 2m 4f nov chs (2) hvy in Feb.

Film Festival (USA) 10-3 (11-4) Led and keen, pressed from 4 out, ridden before 2 out, headed soon after, no extra from last, last of 3, 3l behind Divers (11-4) at Musselburgh 2m 4f nov chs (3) gs in Feb.

Glencree (IRE) 7-2fav (11-0) Prominent, led 5 out, stumbled badly soon after, ridden after last, driven out, just held on, won at Catterick 2m 3f beg chase (4) gs in Jan beating Pyracantha (11-0) by ns, 12 ran.

Sir Tantallus Hawk 5-4 (11-0) Tracked leader, every chance 4 out, not fluent next, rallied to lead approaching last, all out, won at Sedgefield 2m 4f nov chs (4) hvy in Feb beating Predictive (11-7) by 4l, 3 ran.

Halla San 33-1 (10-1) Mid-division on outside, lost place after 7th, well behind before next, soon pulled up, in a race won by Mobaasher (11-7) at Warwick 3m 1f hcp hdl (2) hvy in Jan, 14 ran.

Master Alfredo 66-1 (10-9) Took keen hold in touch, not much room on inside and lost place after 5th, weakened 8th, pulled up before 3 out, in a race won by Highland Valley (10-12) at Exeter 2m 5f nh nov hdl (4) sft in Nov, 13 ran.

Our Bomber Harris 8-1 (10-13) Raced wide, held up towards rear, hit 4 out, disputing modest 6th when blundered 3 out, 8th of 13, 30l behind Cross Kennon (10-11) at Cheltenham 3m 1f Listed hcp hdl (1) gs in Nov.
