Verdict

It’s a while since Seefood last ran over hurdles and this may be a prep race for targets over the larger obstacles in the spring. Whataknight should find this easier than the Grade 2 he contested at Cheltenham in January but he’s looking a few pounds too high at present. A similar comment applies to Bryden Boy and Wetherby third Point The Way could also do with some help from the handicapper. ARTHURS SECRET has only run at Musselburgh since joining Sandy Thomson but was desperately unlucky last time when only beaten a short-head and Rachael McDonald could finally get his head in front today. Red Infantry is rarely far away so warrants a mention and The Organist won the mares’ Listed race on this card 12 months ago, though hasn’t run up that form since.
