        Verdict

        Polished sidestepped Leicester on Tuesday because of the quick going there, and Richard Guest's progressive young gelding can prove that a smart move by winning here. His main dangers could prove to be Freteval, Risky Way and Celtic Legend. Guest has his stable in very good form, the handicapper has not over-reacted to those narrow Polished victories, and the five-year-old can go close to winning again. Turning to the others. Point Of Origin failed to build on a very promising win over fences two runs ago but, if back on song now, can go well. Left Bank has struggled to win from a revised mark but Risky Way looks fairly well weighted on the best of his form. Celtic Legend showed plenty of promise on his chasing debut last time and should improve but Wot No Cash has struggled since winning a selling chase at Chepstow in October. Freteval could be interesting as he is now back to a mark at which he should be competitive. He showed a lot of promise in France before winning in Britain and, only lightly raced, ought to show up well here. He might give the selection most to do but we are still going to side with Polished.
