        Verdict

        Quick Look finished just ahead of Russian Realm when runner-up in soft ground at Ripon last time and both should go well. It was testing going when Bernardo O'Reilly only found one too good at Leicester and he can race off the same mark today but George Bowen may prefer a faster surface having finished closer in a Newmarket sprint last month. Ptarmigan Ridge has plenty of scope and should be sharper for a recent comeback run but EQUITATION is the least exposed and, having landed a double including a debut handicap success at Yarmouth in September, Roger Varian’s charge gets the nod to make a winning return.
