Verdict

Gorgeous Star was only beaten a couple of lengths on debut at Ascot. The third and sixth that day both won next time and Roger Varian’s filly sets a decent standard but the newcomer ALLAYAALI is preferred. She is a half-sister to five winners, including the top-class Just The Judge who won the Rockfel as a two-year-old. River Pride ran green at Wolverhampton and Sean Levey prefers her to stablemate Millie Lou. Almighty Rave is the fifth foal of a mare who has produced winners with her first four to race and Prosperous Voyage is a half-sister to three winners. Nazanin is a full sister to a winning sprinter so also warrants a second look.
