    Verdict

Power Of Darkness have never raced over a trip this far and there could be stamina issues. Maiden Castle has been beaten twice in lesser company off lower marks recently but Strait Of Hormuz won this last year and would have found 1m too short at Pontefract last week. Plenty went wrong for FAISAL on his Turf debut at Windsor in May but he still found more than enough to beat a decent field and extend his unbeaten record. He can give the weight away to the three-year-olds Glentaneous and Anmaat, though the latter is progressive and a big threat.
