In depth

Verdict

HIGHLAND RETREAT (NAP) still has a bit to learn about jumping fences but she's going the right way judged on her all-the-way win over this trip at Huntingdon. A Grade 2 winner over hurdles, she can improve past the likes of Pepite Rose, who has to concede weight all round, and Baby Shine with her yard carrying all before it at present. This looks an insufficient test of stamina for Fentara while Bangor winner Golden Sparkle would be getting plenty of weight were this a handicap but Emily Gray is one to watch on her second for previous connections to subsequent Grade 3 winner Vroum Vroum Mag at Wexford.
