Verdict

STEEL SUMMIT skated up at Taunton on Wednesday having won easily over fences off a higher mark at Huntingdon on Boxing Day. In his current mood, a 7lb penalty is unlikely to stop him here. Thornton Alice is usually thereabouts and has place claims again while Flintstone could figure if fully wound-up. Whichwaytobougie has been placed in his last couple of starts at Newcastle but has got nowhere near in four previous runs at this track. Tennessee Bird is a long-standing maiden trying a new trip but Solstice Dawn could sneak into the frame at decent odds and Vinegar Hill probably has more to offer having only had three runs so far under Rules.
