        Verdict

        Several leading yards have multiple entries in this valuable sales race. The improving Jazz Club is bidding to give Roger Varian a third win in five years and, with Ryan Moore booked, he goes on the shortlist. Richard Hannon has, surprisingly, never won this but has five runners this year. System looks the pick overall having won a Listed race at Newmarket in June but, along with stablemate Symphony Perfect, she never got involved in a similar race at York last month won by EVER GIVEN. Tom Dascombe’s colt has shown himself to be tough and genuine and has won over 7f so the extra yardage today won’t be a problem. Harrow is coming on in leaps and bounds and Murphy rides so he’s preferred to Andrew Balding’s other runner Robasta while I'm A Gambler may prove the pick of the Johnston trio.
