In depth

Verdict

RICHARD PANKHURST hasn’t been the most straightforward horse to train but there was a lot to like about his smooth victory in the Hungerford Stakes and, assuming that his troubles are in the past, he could be hard to beat. Both Toormore and Adaay have questions to answer after lacklustre performances last time, as does Breton Rock, who was well beaten at Haydock last weekend. But the highly-tried Cougar Mountain has place claims if in the mood.
