Verdict
A couple of subsequent winners have come out of the novices’ race that ZABEEL QUEEN won at Ascot. Roger Varian’s Frankel filly is open to plenty of further improvement and has Group 1 entries in the weeks ahead. Star Of Emaraaty caused a massive shock when beating Dubai Fountain in the Sweet Solera at Newmarket but the way she finished that day suggest this extra furlong won’t be a problem. Lilac Road made all over track and trip last month and Indigo Girl showed a nice turn of foot at Yarmouth 11 days ago but this test might come too soon in her career. Joseph O’Brien sends over the improving Ubuntu, who went close in a Curragh Group 3, and she shouldn’t be ignored given Irish-trained fillies have won this three times in the last six years.
