In depth

Verdict

Alwaabel is selected here ahead of Omnicat and Orange Pip. Alwaabel's overall form marks him down as capable of winning a race of this nature and he rates as a major player, as does Barnaby Rudge's. Incomparable falls into the same bracket, while the well-bred Godolphin newcomer Omnicat has to be rated as very interesting. Richard Hannon's Orange Pip also rates as interesting on her debut, as does Mark Johnston's Signora. Overall, though, we will stick with Alwaabel as the selection.
