    Verdict

Very little separates this field on official ratings and the race itself promises to be just as close. Romeo Montague looks to be improving and makes more appeal than Redcar winner Lady Chloe at the weights. Dr Red Eye has been beaten a total of half-a-length in his last three starts and is worth a try over this longer trip, while Ferruccio ran his best race so far when runner-up to Shadow Catcher over a mile at Nottingham two weeks ago. Set To Music can improve on her third at Wolverhampton in April but DENY should be winning this if he's going to start paying back his sizeable purchase price. Dropped in grade here, he now tackles a trip more in line with breeding and will strip fitter for his sixth at Sandown seven days ago.
