Verdict
Reno has a good chance here of gaining his first success over hurdles, his main dangers appearing to be The Last Mohican, Kittylee, Brios Boy and Craigmoor. Kittylee's second to My Sharp Grey a couple of runs ago has been franked twice since and don't rule out Brios Boy, who caught the eye when staying on on his debut (although both he and Cesare Borgia were behind the selection that day) and now drops to selling grade, although he was well behind the selection at Catterick last time too. Craigmoor was plating class on the Flat but ran reasonably well in a better race at Wincanton last time. Disgrace hails from a good stable but has shown little to date, while Penalty Clause has already been beaten in a seller. Leap Year Lass appeared to show some improvement on her last run but, all things being equal, Reno looks to have the best chance, and she also has an excellent three-pound claimer booked to ride. A repeat of either of her last two efforts should see her home here.
