Verdict
A strong contest and from a shortlist of LEADING ATTRACTION, Ice Tea and Apollo Creed, it is Leading Attraction who gets the nod. Despite having top-weight today, the selection is fancied to run a huge race. He was only beaten by a length in the Badger Ales at Wincanton last time out and whilst he has a subsequent 5lb rise in the weights for that run, he is unexposed and open to plenty of improvement still. Noir Et Vert has a tricky profile like many from the yard and one can assume that his trainer will have more of a long term target in mind for him, so a bigger danger today could be Apollo Creed who has proven himself as a good progressive young chaser but he may now be high enough in the weights. Flying Falcon should come on for a recent run but is yet to fully prove his stamina for this trip, whilst Another Promise and Standin Obligation were both pulled up last time. If they go a strong gallop throughout then Ice Tea must have a fine chance having worn down Morgan Be last time at Wetherby. A really good competitive handicap, and we will plump for Leading Attraction.
