In depth

Verdict

Serenity Now appeared to get outpaced by Nautical Twilight over this trip at Sedgefield last time and may be ready for an extra half-mile. He finished barely a length ahead of LIGHT THE CITY that day and the latter should be cherry-ripe now after a couple of runs. Despite re-opposing on the same terms, Ruth Carr's charge can reverse the form here and get of the mark for the season. Serenity Now's stablemate Red Inca looks to have lost the plot but Lucky Landing and Knight In Purple are still capable of performing at this level and could be better weighted than Mr Shantu. Bishop Wulstan took a heavy fall at Kempton last time and that may have left its mark.
