Verdict
Hurricane Lamp, the winner of 12 races throughout his carreer, will need to put in a personal best if he is to win off this mark, while Korakor could also be a couple of pounds too high at present. Saragann keeps climbing in the weights without winning and Hit Royale doesn't look good enough, so the TEAMtalk selection is Europa. Only six, Tom Tate's gelding is the youngster of the party and although he struggled to beat The Negotiator at Perth, over what could well be an inadequate trip for him nowadays, that form was made to look better when the latter went on to win at the next time of asking. Given a break since then, the lack of a recent outing is no concern as he has gone well fresh in the past and he is taken to see off some useful rivals.
