Verdict
MY OLD GOLD looks the one to beat in this veteran’s chase. She stayed on strongly to get the better of the odds-on Cloth Cap over track and trip in December and a 3lb rise is not excessive. Jonniesofa has been highly tried since winning at Ayr on his reappearance and should play a part but I Just Know will need to do better to take advantage of a tumbling mark. Potters Legend has claims on his third at Cheltenham in November but Warriors Tale is making a belated reappearance and Missed Approach has an even longer absence to overcome. None of the others can be completely ruled out but aren’t in the best of form.
