Verdict

ADRIMEL changed hands for a whopping £280,000 after winning a Ballyarthur point last March. He sluiced up on his bumper debut at Uttoxeter and is an exciting prospect for Tom Lacey so can defy a penalty. Flash De Touzaine ran out when favourite for his debut under Rules at Taunton but has had wind surgery since and his trainer will have been working on his issues. The Edgar Wallace was joint favourite when third at Exeter and clearly has ability, though a longer trip might not come amiss. Ballybegg didn’t win in seven attempts between the flags but Eternal Romantic is a possible improver and Slap Dash Harry is worth monitoring for any market support given he’s a half-brother to the useful Honest Vic.
