Verdict

7f winner Croquembouche has something to prove stepping up in distance though breeding suggests it's within his compass. He may well figure in the finish if he does last home while Feisty Champion also has claims but has adopted the annoying habit of running in snatches and leaving himself too much ground to make up in the closing stages. MISTRESS OF ROME looks the safest option as she's been placed on her last three starts over today's trip and the 3lb claim of Lee Topliss could make the difference here. Buster Brown and handicap debutant In The Crowd can be given a chance but Island Melody has saved his best for the Polytrack so far.
