Verdict

Dual bumper winner AIR NAVIGATOR was one of only two backed against favourite Whatswrongwithyou at Newbury 11 days ago but tried to run out at the first and pitched Paddy Brennan out the side door. He’s on a retrieval mission here and should go close with a clear round but Qaviy Cash could also be a useful recruit to hurdling. Rated 85 on the Flat, he’s been gelded since last seen and will have had plenty of schooling. Paris Protocol will be qualified for handicaps after this but First Drift looks to be improving with experience and Veiled Secret was a stayer on the Flat. Silver Hollow is out of a hurdles winner and may be best of the rest.
