Verdict

Ballycrystal Court was probably a lucky winner at Musselburgh in December but that was only his second run under Rules and the step up to 3m might suit. Duke Debarry is making his handicap debut after three runs in novice races so improvement is likely. Buckle Street can be forgiven his latest effort and is a sound stayer while Richard Hobson will have been delighted with Ceporine’s run at Uttoxeter, though the grey will have his stamina to prove over this trip as will All For The Best. Demographic is worth a market check off bottom weight on his return to action and Wicked Spice will have benefited from his comeback here last month but EARLY RETIREMENT ran well on his first try over this trip at Wetherby. A short break may have freshened him up and he can return to winning ways.
