In depth

Verdict

West Leake Diman won his first two races but it was his latest effort in the Middle Park that points to his obvious chance here as he wasn't beaten far in that Group 1 event. Miss Lahar ran well in a Group 3 at Ascot before coming up against the useful Bannock at York and her overall form entitles her to the greatest respect. Son Du Silence could do with some give in the ground but Ballesteros acts on anything and is progressing at a rate of knots so he's worth his place in this line-up. DREAMWRITER bolted up on her debut at Newbury in August and must be forgiven her only subsequent run in a Salisbury Listed event as nothing went right. She's much better than that and is the type to go on to better things.
