      Verdict

Mia's Boy has a tremendous record on this track and won this in 2009 before finishing fourth a year ago. He looks certain to give a good account as does Smarty Socks, who landed a tough handicap over the C&D in June and has been in superb form all summer. It's no surprise to find that the assessor raised SKILFUL a massive 12lb for a hugely impressive all-the-way success over a mile at Haydock last month and if he's correct then John Gosden's colt is comfortably the pick on ratings. The shorter trip won't be a problem and he looks a pattern race performer for next season. Greensward is in good form but appears to do best on a tight track while Below Zero has been out of form since landing a strong handicap at Leopardstown though he's bounced back in the past.
