Verdict

Inniscastle Lad has been disappointing this year but has tumbled down the weights as a consequence and it would be no surprise to see him bounce back to form. Richard Fahey sent out last year's winner but his Bonds Choice was well beaten on her reappearance in April and hasn't been seen since. Duffel and Abertillery both represent powerful Newmarket yards and are at the foot of the weights. The former won at Wolverhampton in August while the latter is lightly raced. Windsor third Gleaming Girl looks to have solid each-way claims again while was only beaten a neck at Pontefract after a few weeks off and is another to consider. MYSTIC MIRAAJ is only a pound higher than when running stablemate Father Bertie to a nose at Redcar and the give in the ground is in his favour. He is just preferred to the consistent Felix Leiter, who has still to really prove he stays this far.
