Verdict

Bollin Greta has won at the course before although has not won since then, whilst My Mate Max just lost to our selection KAZBOW last time out. The Luca Cumani trained four-year-old gelding just held on at Haydock last month to win by a head. They run off the same weight again here and Kieren Fallon takes the ride on our pick in this contest. He is a very consistent performer and can be relied upon to deliver another fine effort so we side with him to triumph. Bollin Greta takes the hour long trip from Tim Easterby's yard at the other end of Yorkshire to compete here and was an encouraging second when last seen at Ripon. A decent effort last year saw her win at this track and this seems to be the benchmark for her efforts. Even if reproducing that today this may not be enough to beat some smart opponents. Kazbow gets a tentative nod to win.
