Verdict
Picking winners will be difficult at Doncaster and the market should prove the best guide in the opener. Kris Kin was unfancied in a Newmarket maiden behind stablemate, Desert Royal. After a couple of months off the track, there is every chance that there could have been some physical improvement. Desert Fortune is undoubtedly well-bred but has been disappointing. Royal Trigger has a fascinating pedigree. His father was an out-and-out stayer whilst his mother a precocious sprinter. Presenter hails from a stable in good form with its two-year-olds but ordinarily they have tended to need the run. Peter Harris and Pat Eddery have a good record with debutantes and the market will speak for Albavilla. The TEAMtalk selection is Henri Royale. His form is much better than the bare figures suggests and having finished just a couple of lengths behind Trade Fair, this has to be one they all have to beat.
