Verdict
Moonlight Man might just be thwarted in his four-timer attempt by Mac Love, with Chance For Romance, Traytonic and Nero's Return others for the shortlist. The selection has knocked at the door in pretty decent company on a number of occasions, and maybe it will open today. Chance For Romance was considered good enough to run in the Lowther Stakes, where she finished a respectable sixth. A repeat of that must make her competitive here. Traytonic won a competitive nursery at York and is another to consider, while Nero's Return absolutely hacked up when green on his debut and clearly has talent. We'll learn more about him today. Moonlight Man will make a bold bid for the four-timer but, on this occasion, we'll stick with Mac Love.
