Verdict

York Listed winner Aberama Gold has a penalty which means he is 10lb worse off than when a length behind the consistent TROUBADOR in the Redcar Two-Year-Old Trophy. Michael Dods’ should easily confirm that form and can get back on the winning trail. Art Power does have more scope and was very impressive over 5f on the Knavesmire. A return to 6f won’t be a problem and he makes more appeal than Naas maiden winner Hong Kong. Flaming Princess is very speedy but has only raced over 6f once before and was well beaten. The others may be out of their depth.
