Verdict

THE KNIPHAND is just 2lb higher than when prevailing here last month and he may still be well treated now he seems to have found his range. Cosmic Outlaw represents a stable with a decent strike rate at Doncaster this season so is of interest at slightly longer odds. Starlyte was of plating class on the Flat but the application of a tongue-strap worked the oracle when sent hurdling at Newcastle while Just Jess has gone up 5lb for her victory at Catterick and Sue Smith’s mare intriguingly scrapes in at the bottom of the handicap this afternoon.
