      Verdict

      Porrima was winning at Newcastle early in the year but is upped in class today along with recent Lingfield winner Javelin. Agincourt recorded both of last year’s successes over a mile and is 4lb higher on her return but Silca Mistress won over today’s trip on the all-weather in December and could go well. EXCELLENT TIMES has been off the track even longer but showed good progress last season, culminating in a narrow-margin defeat in Class 2 company at Haydock. There should be more to come this year and a chance is taken on Tim Easterby’s filly making a winning reappearance.
