In depth

Verdict

Chjimes continues to find one too good and that trend is taken to continue as we plump for Osteopathic Remedy ahead of Getrah and Giant Slalom. The selection is effective on any ground and Michael Dods' gelding has solid claims if reproducing his decent third of last time. Chicken George is unexposed after just three runs and has already shown plenty of ability over this sort of trip. Chjimes has finished second on his last five runs and may need some help from the handicapper (which is unlikely to come). Giant Slalom is yet to win in five turf starts but William Haggas's gelding is consistent and with the stable in form deserves more than a cursory look. Getrah was formerly with Mr Haggas, but has his first run for Noel Wilson this afternoon. Buxton and Barkass are both consistent and capable of running into a place, whilst Baylini has only won once in 10 starts but is fairly consistent and it wouldn't be the biggest shock in the world if he were to win. An open finale in which Osteopathic Remedy gets the tentative vote.
