        Verdict

        Intersky Charm is taken to land this mile handicap, with Cool Ebony, Paraguay and It's A Dream all interesting in opposition. The selection could not get much of a run at York a couple of starts back but was nonetheless eyecatching. He then caught a tartar at Ripon last time out over 10f, and dropped back to a mile he makes appeal. He is in form, he can be placed anywhere in the race and will probably want to be handy to make this a test of stamina, and he is still on a good mark, so he gets the nod. It's A Dream won over this trip at Hamilton and is up a fair looking 4lb for that, so with ground to suit he is respected. The same goes for Paraguay, who likes the ground and is up 5lb for a Goodwood victory. Bath scorer Cool Ebony will need a career best to follow up from this mark, while Mumbleswerve is an unknown quantity on turf to all intents and purposes, and will be interesting if backed. It's an open contest then but Intersky Charm is the one for us.
