Verdict

The Queen’s Calculation takes a further step up in trip after an improved fourth on the Polytrack at Lingfield. It will almost certainly suit the Dubawi gelding who is out of Ascot Gold Cup winner Estimate. Great Bear arrives in good form and has been left on the same mark as when third at Newmarket but Divine Gift needs to improve on this year’s efforts and is held by Rochester House on Haydock running. SKYMAX wasn’t beaten far over track and trip at the start of the month and has been dropped 2lb since. He should be approaching peak fitness now and a bold bid is anticipated.
