        Verdict

        Crantock Bay ran well in a valuable sales race here as a juvenile and was second on his return to action at Windsor, though beaten five lengths. DIAMOND SHOWER was probably an unlucky loser at Carlisle and can go one better here, though strong market support for Roger Varian’s newcomer Ejtilaab would have to be taken seriously as he’s a half-brother to Listed winner Eqtiraan, who won on his debut as a two-year-old. Debonair Don Juan ran a nice race over 7f at Kempton but the drop in trip is a worry.
