In depth

Verdict

AMBERSAND has a slightly better draw than Puerto Banus and that could make the difference. Richard Fahey's charge just failed to make all over a mile on good to soft at Ripon after a very long absence and will be very difficult to catch. His main rival failed to match strides with Last Empire over 6f at Hamilton but stayed on and won't be inconvenienced by the longer trip. Symphony has been showing good pace at Wolverhampton but may need further on this track while Mr Wing was engaged in the 7.30 here last night.
