Hawaam led for a long way at Newmarket on Thursday but will need to sprout wings to win this from stall 13. Warrior's Valley, five times a winner on the all-weather but never on Turf, is also on the outside but UPSTAGING is on the inside and providing he can obtain a clear run Noel Wilson's charge, an excellent second over 6f at Ayr last time, can go one better. King Robert ran well at Sandown and wouldn't need much more to take a hand but Canford Bay is another drawn wide and might prefer softer ground. Computable won this last year from 2lb higher and would have got the nod with a better draw.
