In depth

Verdict

Rodnee Tee has been carrying a penalty for a short-head victory on his debut at Beverley. He wasn't beaten far in two subsequent races but ran poorly in better company back there three weeks ago. Lincoln Blue showed the benefit of his debut run with a very much better effort on soft ground at Leicester and should make further progress while SERMON is probably the one to catch after just failing to make all at Wolverhampton on Monday. Tom Dascombe's charge just gets the nod over Upstate New York, who made his debut in a tough event over 6f at Nottingham where he started favourite and ran well despite missing the break. Dandizette gained a deserved victory when making all at Hamilton and is by no means out of this while Capp It All was engaged in the 2.45 at Doncaster yesterday.
