A tricky beginning but Corri Lindo had Aliandy well behind when recording a 20/1 success at Leicester. Rough Night may be having a confidence-booster having lost his way over fences but Keep Rolling is back in the right grade and Lemon T had a pipe-opener in a jumpers’ bumper at Newcastle 10 days ago. Lifeisahighway might be improving and makes his handicap debut but the going has probably turned against Dash Of Blue, beaten at Fakenham after scoring at Southwell in November and upped in grade. SUNSET WEST had the form of his latest second at Newcastle franked when the winner landed a handicap chase at Ascot last week off a mark of 124 – Phil Kirby’s charge is rated 117 today. En Couleur gets a handy weight-for-age allowance and could figure if lasting home but Mercutio Rock may be a bigger danger with this step up in trip likely to suit.
