In depth

Verdict

Rakematiz remains on a winning mark, despite a 5lb rise for winning over a longer trip here, while Utopian Lad’s earlier second at Wolverhampton also came over 1m4f. Compass Point landed a higher grade contest over track and trip and has every chance but ARABIC WELCOME has more scope. The latter needed only to be pushed out for a cosy win at Wolverhampton and there looks plenty more to come from Marco Botti’s charge. Capla Crusader finished closer last time having switched yards and may prove best of the rest.
